I'm a car guy and I have built many things over the years from muscle cars to Harleys and do most work myself. But I don't do transmissions, they are very specialized and require special tools and expertise and not all transmission shops measure up to my high standards. Jim and his crew have been doing work for me for 25 years, from my old vintage motor home to my F-150 and my wife's Fusion. They have done transmissions, rear differentials, A/C jobs, advanced diagnostics and many other things for me. They have also done work for both of my grown children and many other friends over the years. They run a great shop, they are very experienced and up to date on the latest service requirements, plus they never try to sell you something you don't need. This is the shop everyone hopes to find!!! Their techs are very good, they diagnose things quickly and prices are very fair. I have recommended many people to them and will continue to do so. Great people!

I am devastated. I thought they were honest. They told us we had a good vehicle other than the transmission. I asked for an inspection before investing $3000 into rebuilding the transmission. My trust was completely misplaced. I spent the hard earned cash on their work only to find that we have $5k in repairs with major issues making the vehicle worthless. I feel lied to and hurt. I called and spoke to the business and they said they don’t trust what the other repair shop says and it’s not their problem.

My trucks transmission went out and they helped throughout the entire process with repairs broken down easily as well as the warranty part. They ensured my costs were simply my deductible, which was helpful for my family. I would recommend this shop to my friends and family for all car repair needs and they made the experience hassle free. Great service and friendly place. Definitely give them a try!

I was referred to Central Florida Transmission by a friend after multiple water pump bolts seized and broke off in the timing cover of my 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. My initial conversation with owner Jim was pleasant, and he was kind and helpful, which gave me confidence in having my vehicle towed to the shop. After the vehicle arrived, I spoke with Mike regarding the repair. During our conversation, I understood the cost to replace the timing cover to be around $2,000. After I mentioned the friend who had referred me, the estimate discussed became $2,899. When I questioned the difference, I was told the original figure was not what had been quoted. What concerned me most was not the price itself, but that I felt there was little interest in attempting to remove the broken bolts before recommending replacement of the entire timing cover. I was told that attempting bolt removal would cost approximately $1,200 and that in likelyhood the cover was damaged during the process, it would cost that plus $2,899 making it well over $4,000. I was also told that I had "brought this on myself" and that I should not be researching repair costs. Those comments left me feeling blamed rather t

I can’t say enough good things about Jim, Sean, and Mike. They were professional, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. The quality of their work was excellent, and the entire experience from start to finish was smooth. As a junk removal business owner myself, I rely on dependable peopleβ€”and these guys consistently come through every time. Highly recommend.
